Fork modification to make the right side clamp also.    Carefully file a flat spot - or mill if you got one. Drill a hole perpendicular to the axle. Saw a slot in line with the axle. Put in a Grade 8 stainless Allen bolt.    Even stuck little Allen head screws in the drain hole in the fork leg.    Quick release pin for the axle nut. And I never lost it.
